Sarwat Howe is a Project Manager at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory, (technology transfer office of the University of Manchester), helping academics across the university commercialise their research.
Sarwat holds a Masters’ degree in Chemistry (University of Bristol) and an MRes and PhD in Electronic Engineering (University of Cambridge). After realising that a lab-based role was no longer for her, Sarwat has been able to continue working across the life and physical sciences, in varied roles spanning R&D, consultancy, the NHS and technology transfer.
Being able to present work in a logical and engaging way is a skill even the most seasoned public speakers are always adding to and refining. Sarwat thoroughly enjoys teaching the “Presentation Skills” course – both virtually and in-person.
